Itinerary

Day 01

San José - Turrialba
Arrival. A representative from CostaRicanNature will meet you at the airport and provide your transfer to the hotel.



Day 02

Canyoning - Leisure
Today you will experience a great canyoning tour with 5 different waterfalls to rappel down. This safe adventure will get your adrenaline pumping and will make the tour a memorable experience. After the tour we will have a delicious lunch with a local family. This afternoon spend time at the hotel, relax in the hammock, walk to the farm or explore the local community and learn more about the Costa Rican culture.


Day 03

Rafting - overnight at River Camp
The first day of rafting includes great Class II and Class III rapids and a delicious lunch on the river prepared for you by your river guides/chefs. After lunch we will paddle another 40 minutes to the River Camp, the lodge is a short 10 minute trek through the jungle where you will be blown away by the breath-taking views of the Pacuare River Canyon and surrounding mountains. Once you are settled you can enjoy the views and relax at the lodge or join us for an afternoon walk. In the evening dinner will be prepared for you while you listen to the rainforest and enjoy the sunset.


Day 04

Rafting - transfer to the Caribbean
Today you will wake up to the sun rising over the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Our lodge has morning views directly down the canyon towards the Caribbean. The mornings offer the true essence of the rainforest as the mist rises off the mountains. You can spend the early morning sitting in the rockers outside your cabin or come to the main area for a hearty Tico breakfast. This day is the most scenic day of rafting in all of Costa Rica. You will raft through 200 foot tall rock canyons and pass by 150 foot tall waterfalls. This truly is a magical day from start to finish. After rafting we departure toward the Caribbean coast.


Day 05

Beach Free Day
Free day to enjoy the beautiful beaches. This is a day of leisure to rest and explore the surrounding areas.


Day 06

Snorkeling - Cahuita hike
Cahuita National Park is best known for the easily accessible coral reef that is close to shore. In the dry season there is good snorkeling and you are likely to see the reef and more than 500 species of fish that live in this ecosystem. The hiking trail starts at Cahuita village and is an excellent route to spot lots of birds, monkeys, sloths and many more animals.


Day 07

Surfing-beach
Enjoy the Caribbean Ocean and its waves during a surf lesson with expert local guides that will teach you the best methods and tips for surfing. During the lesson you can take breaks to enjoy fresh fruits, sit on the beach, or play volleyball.


Day 08

Transfer Alajuela - Leisure
Today we head back to the city where you can relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. On our way to the city we can stop for a hike to enjoy the rainforest.


Day 09

Departure
A private transfer to the international airport will be provided. Enjoy your flight home and reminisce about new friends and wonderful memories of your adventure in Costa Rica.

Day 01

San José - La Fortuna
Arrival. A representative from CostaRicanNature will meet you at the airport and provide your transfer to the hotel. On our way we’ll have outstanding views of the mountains and plains of the northern side of Costa Rica.


Day 02

Hanging bridges - Arenal volcano
Explore the area around Arenal volcano on the hanging bridges Project through the rainforest. Your personal guide will lead you on the hike and explain many interesting facts about natural history and the eco system. Later in the day, explore the Arenal volcano and its lava flows


Day 03

Fortuna canopy tour - Leisure
Enjoy the 12 different zip lines across the rain forest canopy. This is a great opportunity to have fun and enjoy the amazing views of the jungle from the platforms. Following the canopy tour enjoy hot springs at the resort and relax in the peaceful environment


Day 04

Safari float tour
Do not miss this excellent tour of the calm waters of the Peñas Blancas River, floating on our inflatable rafts. You will experience a relaxing half day tour, led by one of our bilingual naturalist guides and safari adventure expert. It will provide a safe environment and highlight the beautiful flora and fauna of this region. Animals like sloths, monkeys, toucans, crocodiles, lizards, and turtles can cross your path, even seeing the colorful world of tropical birds.


Day 05

Rafting adventure tour
Enjoy the best rafting down the Balsa River with this adventure! This activity is a fun combination of whitewater thrills and areas where the water is calm enough to jump in and go for a swim. Wildlife abounds in this section of the Balsa, so keep an eye out for sloths, iguanas, howler monkeys and a vast array of tropical birds.


Day 06

Transfer to Manuel Antonio
A private transfer will take you to Manuel Antonio located in the central Pacific coast, during your scenic trip you will travel from the northern Caribbean lowlands to the central volcanic mountain range, crossing the continental divide to the Pacific coast. The Manuel Antonio national park is well known for a wide variety of wildlife and amazing views and sunsets over the Pacific Ocean,


Day 07

Free day at the beach
Enjoy the accommodations of the resort including scenic views from your private balcony and the gorgeous, white sand beaches, you may also be visited by monkeys and other wildlife.


Day 08

Hike - Surfing
Today we can enjoy a surfing lesson in the beautiful waters of the Pacific Ocean, Playa Manuel Antonio is a gorgeous white sand beach located just a few minutes from the hotel and is perfectly suited for both beginners and intermediate surfers alike. Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the jewels in Costa Rica, The impressive flora and fauna attract most visitors and the beach in the park is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the habitats of Manuel Antonio are unique making it one of the most amazing destinations.


Day 09

Departure
A Private transportation will take you to the international airport in San Jose.
